I've never done a blog before, so we will see how this goes.

I originally "built" this blog several months ago(as of this post). However, due to my exceptional ADHD, I never got around to writing anything until just now. I'm hoping to use this site for stream-of-consciousness writing, semi-regular updates, personal programming adventures, and opinion pieces regarding a variety of topics. Be forewarned, I have opinions on everything and anything under the sun.

So, to kick things off, I guess I should talk about what's been happening recently. First and foremost, I am working at Amazon! I'm not gonna lie, I applied almost as a joke. I felt I had no hope on getting hired, or even making it past the first interview round. But here I am! It's actually been a great and humbling experience. I hit my three month mark a week ago today, so woo-hoo! I still feel like a fresh hire, which I think is going to stick around for a few more months. I will probably do another post in the next couple of days about imposter syndrome, because I feel like a pretty big one.

I also started going to my local Young Single Adult ward(For those who aren't members of the LDS church, it's basically a local congregation). People there are actually pretty solid. every time I've gone, it's been a blast.

For the most part though, I really don't do much in my free time. I feel super mentally drained after work, then physically drained because I bike to and from. It's not bad, but I just feel exhausted. You know what I mean? Who knew that being an adult was so rough?

I've also started working on a little fun personal programming project on the weekends, so expect to see updates on that. I have a couple that I want to work on, but I have discovered in these past few months how little I know about program architecture and development.

This will be a short one, but I will definitely try to have more up soon. Love ya'll!
